Education Ministry
The Education Team of Village Chapel is entrusted with the ministry of promoting, encouraging and protecting the teaching of sound doctrine. We adhere to the teaching of biblical truths based on the apostle Paul’s command in Titus 2:1 “You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.” We want to enable any group or ministry representing Village Chapel to do God’s work by faith and love, holding firmly to the essential truths of the Bible. In positive ways, we seek to train leaders and teachers to faithfully and accurately present the grace of God that leads to salvation.
- We promote educational opportunities for biblical teaching on topics including, but not limited to, Bible study, marriage, finances, parenting and spiritual growth.
- We encourage church leaders through mentoring, training and supporting their efforts.
- We protect the teaching of sound doctrine by previewing materials, recommending resources, providing training opportunities and overseeing group leaders and teachers.
- We strive to ensure that all Village Chapel teaching adheres to the Truth of God’s Word and is not swayed by worldly views.
