Prayer Team
The Prayer Team at Village Chapel helps keep prayer at the forefront of our congregation as we reach out as raise up disciples for Jesus. We know that without God we can do nothing, but "with God all things are possible." By sincerely humbling ourselves and praying, we acknowledge our reliance on our loving God for everything, including our salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. Some of the prayer activities at Village Chapel include:
- Sunday morning prayer before services at 7:30 am
- Weekday morning prayer at 7:30 am
- Email prayer chain
- Participation in National Day of Prayer
- Opportunities for individual prayer life development
- Prayer vigils for specific times of intercession
- Having Prayer Team members available for individual prayer support

Ways to serve in this ministry include:
- Gathering and praying for congregation prayer requests at Sunday worship services
- Praying for pastor during his sermons on Sunday
- Planning and organizing prayer vigils
- Praying for email prayer chain requests throughout the week
