Protect the Sanctity of Human Life!  Support your local crisis pregnancy center: Elizabeth's Hope Pregnancy Resources, a pro-life center that offers hope, healing and resources to women in crisis pregnancies. Elizabeth's Hope has centers in Pickaway, Ross andCounties, serving south central Ohio since 1993. Offer your support by participating in the Baby Bottle campaign.  Simply pick up and fill a Baby Bottle (located in the narthex) with change, dollars or even a check and return it to Village Chapel within 4 weeks. Coffee With the Pastor...Looking for a great way to get connected with Village Chapel?  Your first stop is Coffee With the Pastor; this afternoon at 2:00 pm in Room 325 (Coffee Club Room). Whether you have attended Village Chapel for years or weeks, you won’t want to miss this great opportunity to learn how to get connected.  All are welcome!

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes….while shopping, please remember to pick up things that can be used to fill shoeboxes.  In November, these shoeboxes will be sent to children around the world that are victims of war, poverty, natural disaster, disease and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love. You can be a part of this powerful ministry by bringing in items.  During the month of January and February, we will be collecting regular sized bars of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and wash cloths.  Please place donations in the box on across from the coffee bar in the Lobby.

A-Town Youth Is Going To Snow Camp on March 2^nd-4^th.There are still 8 openings for girls and 5 openings for boys that are interested in attending.The cost is $89.Please contact Josh McDanel at 740-954-1054 or jmcdanel@villagechapelumc.org, if you are interested in attending.

Souper Bowl Sunday Fundraiser For The Scholarship Fund And Mission Trip Fundraiser! The Endowment Committee has a plan to feed you and your family for lunch on Souper Bowl Sunday, February 5.After both services on Sunday, the committee will serve you hot soup to go on what will most likely be a cold winter day.There is no charge but the committee will be taking donations to benefit the scholarship fund.In addition, the Missions committee will be serving desserts; proceeds will benefit future Missions opportunities.  So leave lunch to us on February 5, come to church and then make your way to the serving tables where the committee will be serving you with soup to go so that you can go home and warm up before the 2012 Souper Bowl festivities!  We need your help!If you are able to provide a crockpot or pot of your favorite soup, please contact Kyle Clark at 614-805-6437 or (kec632000@yahoo.com). If you would be willing to assist the committee in serving at the event, please contact Kyle as well.

Attention Men! “The Water Cooler”  meets every Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Library—all men are welcome.
